Build a teamTeam building
Begin with the expedition, not a tier list
A tower, a cave, a resource run and an open-world boss ask for different teams. Define the target, expected elements, travel needs and environmental hazards before choosing individual Pals.
This keeps a popular Pal from taking a slot that should cover a weakness, provide a mount or solve a specific partner-skill requirement.
Team building
Cover damage, resilience and utility
- Choose a primary attacker suited to the encounter.
- Add a second damage option that covers the first attacker's bad matchup.
- Reserve one slot for control, sustain or a defensive partner skill.
- Add the movement option the route actually requires.
- Use the final slot to patch uncovered elements or a specialist objective.
Team building
Use the builder as a weakness check
Palpedia Team Builder shows the selected roster together so repeated elements and missing coverage are easier to spot. Open each permanent profile when base stats, work suitability or partner skills could change the decision.
Save separate concepts for exploration, bosses and resource runs. A team is good when it solves its intended job consistently, not when every member appears near the top of a general ranking.
