Practical guide
What this guide solves
A spoiler-light route from the first base to a stable production loop, stronger captures and the new 1.0 regions.

Turn the first base into a reliable supply point
Place the first base near wood, stone and open building space. Your immediate objective is not a perfect settlement; it is a dependable loop for food, Pal Spheres, repair materials and basic crafting.
Assign Pals by the job that is currently blocking progress. One dependable Kindling, Watering, Handiwork and Transporting worker is more useful than a crowded base whose workers constantly change tasks.
Progression
Spend technology points on the next problem
- Unlock the workstations and survival equipment required by your current level.
- Capture broadly to gain experience and fill missing base roles.
- Open the technology tree before spending rare Ancient Technology Points.
- Improve spheres and weapons when capture chance or damage becomes the limiting factor.
- Build a second specialist base only when the first one runs without constant intervention.
Progression
Move into version 1.0 content deliberately
Palworld 1.0 added Sunreach, the World Tree, seven smaller islands and a revised main mission. Treat those areas as progression destinations rather than reasons to skip the production, capture and equipment systems that support them.
Before a long expedition, carry repair materials, food, spare spheres and a balanced team. Use Palpedia profiles, the map and Team Builder to answer specific gaps instead of following a rigid universal roster.
