Protect the old world before opening it
Create a separate backup before loading an important early-access world. If you used mods, read Pocketpair's compatibility warning and remove incompatible files or loaders according to their instructions before the first 1.0 session.
Keep the untouched backup until the world, quests, base and roster have all been checked.
Version 1.0
Reorient around the full-release progression
- Review the revised main mission and current objectives.
- Inspect existing bases for pathing or production changes.
- Rebuild the active team around the next destination.
- Explore Sunreach, the World Tree and the new islands through current progression.
- Check the v1.0.2 and v1.0.3 notes for fixes and balance changes after launch.
Version 1.0
Expect a larger roster and new systems
The official v1.0 notes describe 72 new Pals for a total roster of 287 at release, alongside Awakening, Mutation, new settlements, sanctuary changes and broad combat, base and multiplayer updates.
